Purge Financial Information Data
The Purge FI Data API is utilized to permanently delete data associated with a Financial Information Request. It is important to note that this action is irreversible, meaning that once the data is purged, it cannot be recovered. Therefore, this API should only be called after the data has been fully consumed and is no longer needed.
While this API provides clients with the option to manually purge data, it is worth mentioning that data will be automatically purged after its designated data life expires. For convenience, data retrieved through consent modes such as View, Query, and Stream will be automatically purged 24 hours after retrieval.
This automated purging process helps maintain data hygiene and compliance while reducing the need for clients to manage data retention manually. Clients are encouraged to use the purge function judiciously, ensuring that they are fully aware of the consequences of permanently deleting financial information.
