DSC signature refers to a digital signature created using a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). A Digital Signature Certificate is a secure digital credential issued by a Certifying Authority (CA) that verifies the authenticity and integrity of digital documents or messages.
When a digital document needs to be signed using a DSC, the signer applies their digital signature using a private key associated with their DSC. The digital signature is created using cryptographic algorithms and is unique to the signer and the document being signed. It serves as a digital fingerprint of the document, providing assurance of its authenticity and integrity.
Currently, below DSC Tokens are supported at our end

Prerequisite :
- Java(JDK 1.7 or 1.8) should be installed and configured.
- Browser : Chrome,Mozilla and IE Supported Devices :
- ePass2003 (W,M,L)
- ePass2003-Auto (W,M)

Note: Digio Smart Client needs to have admin permission to run
Make sure there is no token driver installed before, smart client installs it automatically as per the available versions.
If the DSC token is not working while trying to sign.
Try the following:
- Attempting the DSC signature in chrome/mozilla/IE.
- RUN the Digio Smart Client service as Administrator (Windows)
- Ensure that the system has Java(1.8) installed
- Uninstall the DSC token drivers and install the drivers through the digio Dashboard.
- System should allow (have permission) for downloading the Digiosmartclient software and token drivers using digiosmartclient
Process of DSC signing-
The drivers will be auto downloaded once you click on sign now option and sign type is dsc then below three steps will appear. All downloads are automatic and installation of the driver should be done as administrator.
Step 1 is for Digio smart client driver download.
Step 2 Token needs to be connected.
Step 3 For installing token drivers.
Make sure you are trying to do DSC signing using the EPASS token only.
If the prerequisites are complete still errors are being faced, please try to uninstall and then reinstall (DigioSmart Client and EPass token Driver link with admin permissions) and follow the process again.
