Electronic Signature

Electronic signature is a typed name or initial or any other digital reproduction of a signature, to digital documents, such as contracts and agreements. It requires no identity verification from the signer and uses no encryption or authentication. It is most suitable for lower-risk transactions. That said, simple e-signatures are best suited for documents that don't contain sensitive data or don’t need very stringent compliance or security. Digio provides following methods for e-sign:

  1. Slate based Signing: Here the signer gets a blank canvas to sketch out his signature similar to how a signer does with wet ink signatures, just digitally.
  2. Scanning QR: Signers can choose to scan a QR code to open a slate on his or her phone to do slate based signatures from the mobile phone.
  3. Full Name Signing: In this a signer can choose to sign with his or her full name with a wide range of font styles which can then be placed on the intended locations in the document as text.
  4. Initials Signing: Signers can also choose to sign with just the initials of their name in specific styles.
